In this OpenGL Course, you will take your animation skills to the next level by learning about skeletal animations. This will help your character animations to feel more lifelike when they move thier limbs to do things like walking, running, and attacking. You will learn how to use the Open Asset Import Library (assimp) to import and export various 3d-model-formats. ✏️ Course created by Etay Meiri. NOTE: If you are having trouble loading in the models in this tutorial, it might be because the names of the textures are "diffuse" and "specular" instead of "baseColor" and "metallicRoughness" like in the previous tutorial. To fix this simply make the 'getTextures' function accept "baseColor" or "diffuse" and "metallicRoughness" or "specular" like this: if (texPath.find("baseColor") != std::string::npos || texPath.find("diffuse") != std::string::npos) else if (texPath.find("metallicRoughness") != std::string::npos || texPath.find("specular") != std::string::npos) Also note that in the Vertex Shader I removed the negative sign from the rotation matrix! - Source Code & Models - 🤍 - OpenGL Documentation - 🤍 - Discord Server - 🤍 - Patreon - 🤍 - Timestamps- 0:00 Introduction 0:16 Depth Buffer Explanation 0:49 glDepthFunc Options 1:15 Viewing the Depth Buffer 1:37 Depth Value Function 2:08 Linearizing Depth Function 2:19 Viewing Linear Depth 2:43 Z-fighting 3:38 Fog Effect 4:30 Ending - References - 🤍 🤍 🤍 #opengl #opengltutorial #computergraphics #cpp #visualstudio
Unity Pro Free 30 day trial: 🤍 Twitch: 🤍 Main Channel 🤍barj This video was edited by 🤍JustinHughesMusic Today I made a game in OpenGL. Today I made a game in OpenGL. This was not easy however as OpenGL is not like Unity. Unity has made big games such as Burg and Grapple and Mushy and Karlson. OpenGL on the other hand is also very good but is not good enough to make a game in 24 hours. Maybe if you paid someone lots of money like $1000 or PolyMars or Dream or Barji then they would be able to get you a game made with that $1000 in 24 hours or less. MrBeast also has lots of money.
